This tax has to be paid directly by the guests to the hotel at the time of check-in. Tourism Dirham” fees for 3* is AED 10, for 4* is AED 15 & for 5* is AED 20 per room per night.

Hotels Important points

Dress Codes

• For Desert safaris and site seeing casual dresses (shorts, colorless T-shirts, sports shoes and sandals are welcome. It is advisable to have a jacket or a sweater during evening out-door activities such as Desert safari, dhow cruises from November to March.
• Swimming costumes are welcome only in the pool areas of the hotel and the beach.
• Mosques – No Transparent (See-through) clothing, No shorts and skirts, No sleeveless shirts, no clothing with profanity, No tight clothing, no swimwear or beach wears. Ladies should cover the head with a headscarf

Fine dining/elegant restaurants – The dress code is smart Elegant

• Men: shirt with collar and sleeves and closed shoes; no shorts, Bermudas, baggy or torn jeans, t-shirts with large/colorful prints or sports shoes, sandals
• Ladies: no flip flops, baggy or torn jeans, t-shirts with large/colorful prints or sports shoes
• Only individuals over the age of 21 are permitted to consume alcohol
• Smoking is not permitted inside the restaurants
